The Redmouthed goby is probably the easiest to recognize; her lips are bright red as if she were using waterproof lipstick. It is reddish-brown with a series of dark spots along its side. The fins are nicely spotted and slightly serrated at the edge.

Appearance

Pro tips

It prefers to live alone on muddy or rocky seabeds and spends the day eating small invertebrates.

The mating season is from April to May.
