Traveling with all your dive gear can be a real challenge.
We’ve been there plenty of times and figured out what works best — so here are our top tips for you:
First and foremost, make sure to pack your regulator in a bag that’s specifically designed for it—it’s a delicate piece of equipment and needs extra protection.
For the rest of your gear, we recommend using a soft-sided suitcase. They’re lighter, easier to handle, and usually easier to fit into tight spaces than hard-shell cases.
If you're also traveling with an underwater camera housing, make sure it’s not locked shut. The pressure changes during a flight can compress the seals and make them more likely to crack.
