The best way to find this tiny fella is during a night dive or in dark places. 

 

His home is in crevices, caves, or under overhangs.

Sometimes they can also be found in deep pools in tidal areas and estuaries.

 

Their menu includes crabs, worms, snails, and algae.

 

The females can lay up to 12,000 eggs at once.
