Once a refuge for Barbarossa pirates, today an untouched diving experience for underwater enthusiasts of all skill levels.
Whether you are looking for an adrenaline rush, traces of the past, or simply have a passion for colorful sea creatures, you will find everything your heart desires in this beautifully untouched marine park.
The highlight of the marine park is its diverse marine fauna, with fish species such as grouper (Epinephelidae), barracuda (Sphyraena) and amberjack (Seriola dumerili) swimming in huge schools. But that's not all: the rocky underwater landscapes also offer moray eels (Muraena helena) and octopuses exciting exploration opportunities.
Occasionally, playful dolphins and graceful sea turtles may pass by.
The underwater landscapes of the park consist of vibrant reefs, fascinating caves, and dramatic rock formations.
They offer divers of all experience levels a variety of challenges and attractions.
Shipwrecks like the “Nord America” and the “Minerva” provide the ultimate thrill.
For the archaeology lovers among you: remains of Roman amphorae can also be dived.
All those who venture into the depths here as scuba divers are encouraged to act responsibly so that this unparalleled ecosystem remains preserved in its form.
