Special Features

Those who take advantage of the lighting conditions around noon for a dive at Sestrice will be richly rewarded! Grab your camera and get ready for a photoshoot with sea hares, moray eels of impressive sizes, large lobsters, white and red gorgonians, sawfish, Mediterranean sergeant majors, and giant dragon heads.

The best spot for this is on the eastern side of Mala Sestrica, on a beautiful steep wall between 25-45 m.

Due to the gradations of several steep walls, there is something here for divers of all levels.

With a bit of luck, one might discover one or two seahorses while surfacing in the shallower area.

The best way to start is from the anchor point on the east side of the island and dive the wall towards the east.

Occasionally, there can be moderately strong currents.
