The 60 m deep underwater gorge is the perfect marine playground for sport divers and technical divers around Primosten.
While circling the canyon, there is much to discover at the overhangs and countless crevices: Colorful corals bloom here in all their glory.
Octopuses, tuna, and rays also frolic around the reef.
The two rounded peaks and the cathedral-like silhouette give this exciting dive site its name.
The entry is usually over a plateau at about 7 m depth, the openings into the cathedral are full of holes like Swiss cheese and lead inside.
A large hall and a "chimney" lie close together.
Orientation at this site can be a bit difficult for some.
To find the way back, one should always look for distinctive features in the surroundings (or make it easy and dive with a guide).
Beware, one risks underestimating the depth and the chimney becomes very narrow. Not suitable for beginners.
