Special Features

The most challenging dive site in Ustica.

The shallowest point of this site is only reached at 24 m, and there are usually very strong currents here.

But it is worth the effort, especially at a depth of 30 m, where you experience the underwater world from a truly magical perspective.

Huge schools of barracuda majestically circle around, their silver scales shimmering in the dark blue of the open water.

At 40 m, enormous rocks rise from the light sandy bottom, covered profusely with red gorgonians.

If you look closely, you can even spot the solitary Mediterranean sea fingers (Alcionium acaule).

There are also some dragon heads and the rare melon sea urchins (Echinus melo) residing here.

If you venture a little deeper, you can admire the beautiful golden corals (Savalia savaglia).

As if that wasn't enough variety, this site also hosts other species that are not often seen: the sea walnut (Mnemiopsis leidyi) and the Venus's girdle (Cestum veneris).
