The shallowest point of this underwater feature is at 8m, where we anchor and begin our dive. From there, we follow a steep drop-off further into the depths, gliding over beautiful fields of crustacean anemones (Parazoanthus).
To the south, the rocks become increasingly carved by gorges, where scorpionfish and octopuses hide.
At the end of the drop-off, it's worth circling the smaller rocks that stand out darkly from the bright sand, as they are a popular home for Muraena helena, Conger conger and groupers Epinephelidae.
In places, the landscape is interspersed with seagrass meadows (Posidonia), where wrasses and sea breams frolic.
When ascending, you will be accompanied by Chromis chromis and banded breams (Oblada melanura) and can observe huge schools of barracudas (Sphyraenidae) hunting in open water.
