Here we are at the southernmost point of Ustica. Even the landscape above the water surface hints at what the underwater world promises.
The dive begins over a beautiful seagrass meadow (Posidonia) and then transitions to a steep wall that drops from 12 to 35 m depth.
If you move a little away from the wall, you will reach a landscape of several large rocks covered with red and yellow gorgonians, where you can find a lot of macro life.
It's always worth looking towards open water, as large barracudas and amberjacks are roaming there. When surfacing, it is advisable to take a look into the small cave at 10 m, as shy Muranea helena like to hide there.
Those who dive at this spot at the right time will discover that countless schools of young barracudas seek refuge from currents and predators.
