Pro Tips

The Laurencia obtusa is not very picky about its environment.

Since its growth pattern is not quite as strict in terms of genetics, it can be found both in areas with high or low current.

Thanks to a dense, stocky growth pattern, it can withstand the wild conditions in surf zones, while it can be found with a less dense growth form in calm waters.

But in principle, Laurencia obtusa is a real sun-lover among red algae.
