Pro Tips

The Forked felt alga, also known as green sea fingers, is a species that migrated from the Pacific Ocean.

It is still rarely represented here in the Mediterranean (in western areas, northern Adriatic), but it feels most comfortable in bays and harbors, i.e. in quiet, shady locations.

In some areas, it is harvested by hand or with trawls and eaten.
