Forked felt algae is arguably a small wonder, as it is said to have antibacterial and antibiotic properties.

It is not called forked felt alga for nothing, because its 5 mm thick branches are forked and branched.
The ends are club-shaped and pointed; also known as utriculi in specific terms.
It is dark green and has a spongy consistency. In total, it can be up to 40 cm high.

1. Forked ends
The Forked felt alga, also known as green sea fingers, is a species that migrated from the Pacific Ocean.
It is still rarely represented here in the Mediterranean (in western areas, northern Adriatic), but it feels most comfortable in bays and harbors, i.e. in quiet, shady locations.
In some areas, it is harvested by hand or with trawls and eaten.
